'Fantastic', 'Fabulous', 'Best curry ever' Val Stone Great British Bake Off loves Bini Curries
I met Val on a judging panel for the Great Taste Awards in June and we hit it off.
Firstly, I didn't know who she was to star t (sorry Val) and we just carried on tasting dishes, writing notes, having fun. Then lots of other judges seem to know something I didn't, and the penny dropped :) i recognised Val immediately :)
We are both from Yorkshire, come from similar backgrounds, love food, curry and cake. So that was it, we stayed in touch. Val was keen to try my Bini dishes and recently she had an operation which I could tell from her Instagram posts that she was in need of a help in hand and company.
I popped along with my Bini curries, flowers and a husband who is excellent in the garden. We had a tour of the baking garage - the girl shed! I loved this. We popped the curries into the freezer and chatted. Richard helped with the pruning of the olive tree leaving Val feeling happy and positive.
Later in the week I received a text from Val giving me feedback from her husband and it made me smile.
'Him indoors had your Moghul chicken curry last night, some of the words between mouthfuls were 'fantastic', 'fabulous', 'best curry ever', thank you dear friends xxxx'
At Bini Fine Foods when we cook it is all about comfort, holding your hand, giving you the best curry experience, it is how my mum would cook a hearty curry and feed the family. This is what Val and her husband experienced. It is a cure for the soul.
If you fancy a curry, need a pick me up, hand to hold, or fancy becoming a stockist and enjoy a home cooked ready meal get in touch.
Have a lovely day everyone.
