Bini features in the the Asian Giants Magazine - Asian Voice

Every week my mum receives a newspaper which comes through the post called Gujarat Samachar. She has been a loyal subscriber for the last 30’plus years. The paper is focused on Indian news both across the world and the UK. She will read every article and loves the horoscope section.

Anyway, this week there will be a supplement inside her paper focusing on amazing inspiring Asian Women in the UK and their stories. On pages 18-20 she will see a familiar face.  

 I haven’t told my mum, thought I’d surprise her and I know she will be shocked ( it will be epic) to see herself in the magazine. My mum deserves the recognition too.

 I couldn’t have done it without her training, determination and perseverance to show me how to cook traditional Gujarati food.

I’m truly grateful. Dreams can come true for everyone.
